The “New Office 2007 Features” Post Series

I downloaded the Office 2007 beta last week and have been running it alongside my Office 2003 installation. I’ve actually been using Office 2007 instead of Office 2003 whenever possible (except for Outlook, since the 2007 and 2003 versions can’t co-exist on the same system for some reason).

I’ve also been finding lots of cool new features; so I decided it would be neat to do a post series about the new features in Office 2007.

So keep an eye out: the first post in the series will be coming soon!

ZoneAlarm’s Fine Print

I found this text from ZoneAlarm’s license agreement to be quite interesting indeed:

[T]he Software may not be downloaded or otherwise exported, reexported, or transferred to an end-user engaged in activities related to weapons of mass destruction. Such activities include but are not necessarily limited to activities related to: (1) the design, development, production or use of nuclear materials, nuclear facilities, or nuclear weapons; (2) the design, development, production or use of missiles or support of missile projects; and (3) the design, development, production, or use of chemical or biological weapons.

It’s amazing what kind of stuff you can find in a license agreement these days! :-)

My First Post from Office 2007

Yep, I did it – I downloaded the Office 2007 beta before it becomes a paid download tomorrow (Wednesday). And is it cool or what! So far I’ve only tested Word 2007 (which I’m using to write this post), and just that is enough to get me excited. Can’t wait to test out the rest!
