Skribit: Blogging Widget to Help Writers’ Block

Every blogger, whether a WordPress user or not, will probably come up against a problem many bloggers face: writers’ block.

Skribit promises to alleviate that by providing widget code that you can add to Blogger, TypePad, self-hosted WordPress, or any other HTML webpage. This widget allows your readers to suggest new topics or ask for advice. The suggested topics can even be voted on social-media style.

This setup is a win-win, since the readers get to suggest and vote on content, while the blogger has an ideas list tailored to his or her blog.

As of this writing, you can find the Skribit widget on this blog’s sidebar — check out what it looks like, and feel free to leave a topic suggestion or two. :-)
