Thanks a lot sharing, great plugin!

How does the Hide Dashboard feature work though? How can I define this for each user role? Basically I want to hide it to everyone but the Admin…

    Thanks again 🙂

  6. I really like this idea – combining several plugins into a single plugin.

I’m having one problem with it. When I enable the “display a Read more” option and the “Show post excerpts” option, the excerpts show a […] instead of a Read more. Have you seen this?

  7. Hi, I am testing your plugin and intend to use it on my websites. However there are somethings not working well.

    1. This function is not working: Open external comment links in new windows

    I’m getting this ERROR:
    elements[i] is null
    [Break on this error] anchors = elements[i].getElementsByTagName(“a”);

    2. May I ask to include a function to enable _blank for links in comments as well?

Excellent.. keep the good stuff up man..

Hi! Am hoping you can help me problem-solve the “Read More” option for the archive page.

The first “read more” link generated on each Archive page works correctly. However, the subsequent links add an old subfolder, which leads to a 404.

The website is in test phase… please let me know if you could look at it.
    Thanks
    Peter

Another anomaly… the […] is not stripped.

And yet another: the link on some excerpts refers to the old blog where the post was imported from.

    Looks like a database issue…

Getting closer: the link address that is quoted comes from the Posts Database, and uses the “guid” value. Somehow this value has an old subfolder included.

    Hi,

I am using your WordPress tweaks plug-in, and I think it’s great – it seems to be the only external link target=_blank plug-in that actually works! However, even though everything seems to work fine, I occasionally see the following error in my logs:

[10-Nov-2008 14:04:15] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: update_option() in [URL removed]/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-tweaks/tweaks.php on line 158

Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

  13. I have the same error,
Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_option,line 158. Can someone help with this, it is actually my number 1 stat on awstats.

If you could please help me I am getting this errore with WP-SEO_master….and I am running WP 2.5.3

Sorry, the WP SEO Master plugin only works with WordPress 2.2 or higher

  15. But all of us are using above vs 2.2, so that does not make sense.

There is a lot of helpful info on this site, but I kind of wish it would be updated more frequently.

I don’t comment on here much, but I love this site and I was wondering if you happened to read the recent article about hot job skills for 2008 that features WordPress. In fact, it shows wordpress trends as having increased by 4 times from that of the previous year. I found this encouraging (and figured I’d share) because in this economy, it’s good to be a part of something that is actually in demand.

Looking forward to your next post. 🙂

  17. Nice features great for SEO for my website. I have started using recently.
It would be great if you can add features like autosave turn off, post revision turn off and so on.

  18. Wolfgang

Is it working with WordPress 2.8.2?

  19. Thank you John for an excellent plugin,
It fills an empty spot where you need to Fine-tune WordPress without missing with the code.
I am including it in my next WordPress Plugins review.
    @Wolfgang: It works with 2.8.4!

  20. Uri

Your plugin is AWESOME!! Thanks for this GREAT job, John!
